Data Governance manages information through its lifecycle: drafting, publishing, storage, archival and deletion.
Data Loss Prevention finds sensitive information within documents, and enforces policies about how such information can be shared. DAG and DLP can work together.
These are both different to Data Access Governance.
DAG is how businesses can get visibility and control of ‘who has access to what’ files and information. Effective DAG engages the data owners in the business on decisions about access to the information they are responsible for.
