Torsion partners with Security and IT system integrator MVP Group Torsion Information Security

Data governance specialists Torsion Information Security today announced their strategic partnership with the leading Security and IT systems integrator, MVP Group for the GCC region. The partnership will bring new levels of data governance and security to businesses within UAE and GCC countries.

With almost two decades of experience and a strong engineering focus at its core, MVP Group also runs a specialist cyber security practice that executes diverse and highly complex projects for the government, critical infrastructure, military and private sectors alike. Highly skilled in the latest technologies and regulations, MVP team is made up of over 200 employees with more than 3000 installations and four offices across the Middle East.

Torsion has developed revolutionary software that plugs into existing collaboration systems such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, to give visibility and control over file sharing by automatically monitoring who is accessing what information and when.

Jurgen Herre, Director of MVP Group says: “The rise of file sharing through collaboration platforms means that access easily becomes out of control and data breaches are more likely. Having visibility of who has access to what has become a real security and compliance concern for our customers. We are really excited to be bringing such an effective data governance solution to the UAE.”

Peter Bradley, CEO, Torsion adds: “The platform seamlessly drops into existing file sharing and collaboration tools so businesses can start controlling their file access straight away. We’re delighted that the Torsion solution is going to be making waves in the Middle East through such a valued and respected partner as MVP.”
