Torsion Data Access Governance software now available to all UK public sector organisations
Data Access Governance software provider Torsion has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 13 framework. Doing so enables Torsion to offer solutions to more public sector companies in the United Kingdom.
The G-Cloud 13 framework is divided into categories known as “Lots”. Torsion Data Access Governance software will be available in Lots 2 (Cloud Software) and 3 (Cloud Support).
As users within public sector organisations constantly share data access, Torsion delivers powerful visibility and control of ‘who has access to what’ in Microsoft 365. It uses intelligent automation to eliminate inappropriate permissions throughout data at massive scale, in real time, on auto-pilot.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Peter Bradley, CEO at Torsion says: “We are delighted to be named a supplier on the CSS framework. Joining the framework will make it easier for UK public bodies to get visibility and control of their data access through the Torsion software. We’re really excited about the new opportunities that will arise as a result of joining the CSS.”
